The Creative Industry Scientific Programme will develop a knowledge infrastructure which consolidates the leadership position and stimulates the continuing growth of the Dutch Design Sector and Creative Industries.

CRISP focuses on the design of Product Service Systems, generating and disseminating the knowledge, tools and methods necessary for designing complex combinations of intelligent products and services with a high experience factor.

CRISP is funded by Dutch government FES funding and a consortium of scientific and industrial partners.

Report Design Review Sessions 4, 24 April 2031

At Undercurrent, floating but docked on the north embankment of Amsterdam's IJ, CRISP's fourth Design Review Sessions marks the mid point of its four-year programme. Introduction and keynote speeches highlighted an especially proactive day filled with project presentations, discusisons, and networking between all members of the eight different CRISP projects.

New Skewiel Mobiel

Introducing the New Skewiel Mobiel

One of our longest running testbeds, Skewiel Mobiel, started a few years before the CRISP research community was formed. It became a satisfying service for elderly who are otherwise unable to leave their homes. Many customers are attached to the service and they have adopted it in such a way that it started to play an indelible role in their daily lives. Weaknesses have also been found, such as the low and sometimes dangerous top speed of 40 kph, the limited range of destinations, and the Spartan comfort of the customized electric golf cart, the GEM e4. After 4 years of running and running research, it was time to replace it for an new and improved electric vehicle.
